Title: Calibration Engineer
Location:Office and on-site at Customers (25% on-site at customers)
Job Description:A reputable company is seeking an experienced Calibration Engineer to join their busy calibration laboratory, undertaking the calibration of Electrical and Mechanical, Torque, Force, and Pressure gauges. The position holder must be customer-focused and able to deliver against business objectives and customer expectations. This role will require traveling to customers’ sites within the UK mainland.
Responsibilities:
* Ensuring the day-to-day calibration activities of the laboratory are in line with the requirements of BS EN ISO 17025:2017.
* Maintain measurement results and create certificates.
* Advise/liaise with customers on calibration, sales, or repair requirements.
* Review and sign certificates and reports as an approved signatory.
* Perform calibration tasks in accordance with business procedures.
* Liaise with Senior Management on all aspects of the efficiency of the laboratory and its activities.
* Perform on-site Electrical calibrations at customer premises.
Requirements:
* A qualification in electrical, calibration or electronics is required.
* Experience in dimensional calibration, engineering inspection, or manufacturing is advantageous.
* An interest in electronics, an eagerness to learn, and a keen attention to detail are essential.
* Ability to perform on-site calibrations at customers’ premises and always promote the company image.
