We are looking for a new addition to our fantastic Legal firm! If you are a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Litigation Executive (non-qualified) and have worked on Industrial Disease Claims, we want to talk to you!!
It is a full time vacancy with the option of hybrid/fully office based or homeworking, your salary will be dependent on your experience, we don’t need you to be qualified, what is crucial is that you have experience of handling a caseload of Industrial Disease claims, pre and post litigated cases. We deal with predominantly noise Induced hearing loss cases but have more recently started working on military deafness cases too so this experience would also be useful.
Location: Fully remote (our offices are in Castleford, Yorkshire) s o you would need to be able to attend the occasional meeting or training session when required
Salary: Completely negotiable based on you experience
What will you be doing:
The primary role as a (Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Litigation Executive) at the firm is to represent and defend clients legal interests and provide specialist advice in the area of Industrial Disease. This will include (but will not be limited to) the main responsibilities given below
• Manage a caseload made up of both pre and post litigated claims
• Deals with and assists on more complex and higher value cases
• Correspond with clients, insurers and other solicitors and liaise with Counsel and experts where appropriate
• Analyse evidence and set case strategies encompassing both technical and commercial considerations and advise clients accordingly
• Provide a timely, professional and high quality service to clients in the management of a high volume caseload
• Where necessary interview witnesses and prepare witness statements
• Attend external meetings/hearings/appointments as required by the business
Fee Contribution:
• Lawyers of every level must be able to show a track record of achieving their fee contribution and time targets and that the targets are appropriate for their position and level of qualification
• Achieves KPI’s
