We are currently recruiting for a secondary school in Enfield, which is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the team in September.
Role: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Dates: September 2024- July 2025
Salary: £85-95 per day, depending on experience
As a Learning Support Assistant, your duties will include:
* Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) to access the curriculum
* Providing one-to-one support or small group support as required
* Helping to plan and deliver tailored interventions for students
* Providing support during classroom activities and assessments
* Monitoring and recording students’ progress and behaviour
* Liaising with teachers, parents and external professionals to ensure that students receive the best possible support
The successful candidate for this learning support assistant role must have experience working with students in a school setting, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. It is also crucial to be very reliable.
This is a mainstream classroom position, with the timings being 8:15 am - 4:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to work in a good school that is easily accessible by public transport with some limited on-road parking available.
