As a Financial Accountant, you will work across management accounts, year-end statutory accounts and audit and taxation in a varied role for this PE backed challenger bank. Your role will include:
* Supporting the month end close and production of timely management accounts and analysis
* Production of MI reports
* Produce quarterly VAT returns and annual corporation tax returns
* Supporting the Product team and other teams in supporting new product business cases and looking at tax implications
* Work with outsourced tax advisors on complex taxation issues
* Support in the preparation of the annual report and statutory accounts (IFRS)
* Support the external audit process and continuos development of the control environment
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) from industry or practise and be keen to work within the specialist lending and banking sector.
