Part-Time HR Manager
This position has arisen due to replacement and restructure.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a small HR team of two in a varied and challenging part time HR Manager role and would be ideal for an experienced HR Manager looking for the opportunity to perform a generalist HR role with responsibility for supporting the development of the Human Resource infrastructure.  Providing policy advice and practical solutions to HR issues, the Human Resource Manager role is fundamental to assisting the smooth operational running and ongoing development of the charity. 
The Human Resource Manager will lead on the high-quality delivery of all HR services across the charity including recruitment; remuneration and reward; performance; employee relations and assistance; and learning and development.

Part-Time HR Manager Responsibilities
This role will include but not be limited to:
* Management of complex, high level employee relations matters and legal issues, ensuring full compliance with all relevant legislations and regulations
* Leading on the development of HR policies, processes and procedures, reviewing and updating as needed
* Working closely with L&D to implement initiatives for employee development
* Leading on HR strategies and projects
* Line management, coaching and support of one Senior HR Advisor
* Supervising HR administrative functions, including payroll, benefits and record-keeping
* Supporting SLT on change management

In addition to a competitive salary the HR Manager will receive 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a NEST pension (10% after 6 months), life assurance from day one and an EAP.

Part-Time HR Manager Experience
Our client is looking to recruit a professional, versatile, confident and enthusiastic HR Manager who has previous exposure to the full employee lifecycle from recruitment, employee relations and learning and development through to organisation design and managing change. Someone who will bring fresh ideas and a modern approach to the HR team and somebody who is able to communicate well with long-serving employees, keeping them informed of change and remaining calm and professional.  
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills will be essential to build professional and effective working relationships. A proactive self-starter with a ’can do’ attitude, who can hit the ground running, and bring energy and drive. Previous experience of project management would be ideal.
You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of effective recruitment and selection with good knowledge of employment law. Experience with TUPE situations would be advantageous.
Candidates who are CIPD certified (or equivalent) will be prioritised. If you have experience of working in the not-for-profit sector this would be desirable. Experience working within an SME and setting up HR processes in a standalone role would be the perfect match!
Location
This role is permanent, part time, 21 hours, 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
Monday will be an office day each week, plus one other office day per week, and one day per week can be worked from home.
The role is based in OX2 and so please ensure you live locally and can do this commute as required. There is car parking available on site.
