Reed Scientific are working with a leading scientific research organisation in Belfast, who have an urgent need for an environmental scientist with key skills within conducting literature reviews, scientific report writing and evaluating and analysing data sets to assist on a key project relating to water quality. This is a 6-month temporary assignment with scope to be extended.
Within this opportunity you will be supporting with:
* Conducting literature reviews
* Report writing
* Evaluating data sets and analysing the data
* Supporting in mapping and modelling simulations to help improve water quality in the key geographic areas
They are looking for someone with the following background:
* Scientific or ideally an Environmental Science qualification (BSc, MSc or PhD)
* Excellent report writing and communication skills
* Ability to assess and analyse date and information from a variety of sources
* Previous experience working on water quality related projects would be highly desirable
