Job Role: Business Development Manager (New Business)
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £35,000 + incentives

Our client is leading legal services provider specialising in new build work and residential conveyancing, who pride themselves on strong client relationships and innovative approach to the legal market.

They are seeking a dynamic and motivated New Business Manager to join their team and contribute to growth and success.

The Role:

* Directly report to the Director/Office Head.
* Lead and manage the New Business Team.
* Arrange and meet with new potential clients and referrers, focusing on profitable new build work and residential conveyancing.
* Maintain current business relationships and serve as the primary contact.
* Discuss and understand targets/KPIs with the Director/Office Head to identify areas for improvement and growth.
* Become a subject matter expert on the company’s services and areas of expertise.
* Monitor conversion levels with introducers and address any issues as needed.
* Liaise with the Marketing Team to discuss market strategies and future projects.
* Assist Fee Earners in sourcing new business and achieving targets.

The Person
* Understand the importance of a new business operation within a legal environment.
* Demonstrate proactive and independent thinking.
* Maintain high levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
* Provide evidence of a successful track record in achieving new business success.
* Have a good telephone manner and be comfortable speaking with clients both on the phone and in person.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines and be motivated by achieving and exceeding targets.
* Be highly organised, methodical, and adaptable.
* Oversee and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met for each introducer.
* Be comfortable analysing reports and data, and using our case management system.
