Job Description:
We are looking to appoint a committed and passionate and experienced teacher to become a new SENCO at a SEND secondary school located in the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. With the support of the Senior Leadership Team and the SEND department, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the SEN policy, SEN information report and provision made by the school for pupils with learning difficulties or disabilities. The post will commence in April 2024. You will join an Ofsted rated Good’ school.

The role will pay anywhere on the Main Pay Scale and into the Upper Pay Scale as well as TLR 2B.

Key responsibilities:
• Work with middle leaders to lead, manage and develop a rich and appropriate curriculum so that it is fully accessible to SEND students.
• Ensure that all students with SEND have personalised attainment and development targets.
• Lead the timely identification and assessment of pupils with Special Educational Needs.
• Arrange, observe, and review SEN interventions led by SEND staff.
• Ensure the maintenance of accurate and up to date SEND information.
