Job Description:
Extra Care Scheme Coordinator
Location: Carlisle, Cumbria (CA3)
Salary: £14.50 per hour will go permanent
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time (30 hours per week), flexible working across a 7-day rota.

A reputable care provider is seeking a dedicated Extra Care Scheme Coordinator to oversee operations at Burnside Court and Heysham Gardens in Carlisle. This role is ideal for a compassionate individual committed to delivering high-quality care and fostering a supportive community environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational management of the extra care schemes, ensuring compliance with CQC standards.
* Collaborate with Social Services and other stakeholders to deliver client-focused services.
* Promote a positive atmosphere and encourage social activities for clients.
* Lead a team to provide respectful, person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
* Maintain high standards in service delivery, staff management, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3 (essential).
* Significant experience in extra care, home care, or residential services.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and supporting a team.
* Excellent communication, IT skills, and ability to produce high-quality reports.
