Purchase Ledger Clerk
* Job Type: Permanent – Office based
* Location: Coventry
* Salary: £25k to £28k
Reed Accountancy is on the lookout for a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a team in Coventry. This is a permanent position and office based. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a solid grasp of purchase ledger accounting principles, we want to hear from you!
Day to Day of the role:
* Accurate invoice coding and matching to ensure proper tracking and accountability.
* Processing BACs payments efficiently and on time.
* Calculating VAT for transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations.
* Performing statement reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or in a similar role.
* A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work.
* Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
* Proficiency in accounting software, with a preference for candidates knowledgeable in SAGE 50.
