National Sales Manager

Job Description:
Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is looking to recruit an ambitious, articulate, and efficient National Sales Manager to ensure that the sales goals across all regions are achieved.
Reporting to the Managing Director, responsibilities will include:
* Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
* Account management of blue-chip companies, Plc’s, SME’s, schools, colleges, universities and councils
* Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
* Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure a strong presence
* Meeting customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative.
* Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
* Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
* Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
* Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
* Stay up to date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board
Experience within a leadership B2B sales role with the ability to demonstrate excellent sales/negotiation skills are essential, a background within promotional products, work wear, branded goods could be an advantage, alongside a strong leadership skills, corporate outlook and professional telephone manner. A good understanding of IT processes, CRM systems and experience with digital campaigns or marketing platforms/services would be benefical.
This role is a remote position, and a current driving licence would be essential.
