Tax Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on a Tax Manager or Senior Manager opportunity on behalf of a forward thinking firm in Hertfordshire.

The role will involve working with an impressive client portfolio involving a mix of compliance, tax planning and ad hoc advisory work with regulat client liaison.

The ideal candidate will be from a mixed tax background with a strong foundation in both private client and corporate tax.
The role can be tailored to the individual’s skill-set and there is genuine scope to progress to Director.

You will have plenty of flexibility, a genuine work life balance and the option of working from home 2/3 days a week. Part time also considered.

Managing a mixed tax portfolio
Advising companies & individuals of their tax liabilities
Identifying tax planning opportunities
Managing the successful delivery of ad hoc tax advisory projects
Review of tax compliance
Provision of advisory services
Research and planning on specific projects
Business development
Leading client meetings
Mentoring a team of junior staff

You:

CTA Qualified (ideally)
ACCA/ ACA/ ATT also considered
Corporate, Mixed or private client tax background from UK practice
Tax advisory & compliance expertise
Strong communication skills
