**Technical Delivery Manager** (Contract)
Duration: 12 Months (Possibility for extension)
Location: Leeds/Hybrid (2 days per week on site)
Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate or Salary is available for suitable candidates
Role profile
Are you a passionate Technical Delivery Manager with a knack for managing complex projects and a strong background in network services and security? Our client, a leading banking institution, is seeking a talented individual like you to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the success of their critical business processes.
As the Technical Delivery Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upgrade of Cisco Core Network components supporting their critical business processes. Your technical competence and expertise in network services, network security, and traffic management lab will be instrumental in managing the risks associated with these upgrades.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include stakeholder and supplier management, delivery implementation, and resource and cost control. Your ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders will be essential in delivering successful projects.
Key skills required for this role:
- Network Services: Strong knowledge and practical experience in managing network services.
- Network Security: Proficiency in network security protocols and practises, ensuring the safety and integrity of the network infrastructure.
- Traffic Management Lab: Experience in traffic management lab operations, optimising traffic flow, and ensuring efficiency.
- Upgrades of Cisco Core Network Components: Proven experience in planning and executing upgrades of Cisco Core Network components supporting critical business processes.
- Technical Competence: A solid technical background and the ability to understand and troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Stakeholder/Supplier Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Delivery, Implementation, Resource, and Cost Control: Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, while effectively managing resources and costs.
