Reed HR are currently recruiting for a HR & Payroll Officer to join our client during a busy period of change.
The role:
I’m looking for a HR & Payroll Officer to join our clients team on a permanent basis.
I’m looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual with good attention to detail and excellent communication skills. This position is suitable for a self-motivated individual who can work in a methodical manner and has worked across HR and Payroll.
Responsibilities:
* To give a high-quality service to support line managers and employees and provide backup to the HR Manager and admin team
* Be first point of contact on employee relations, including managing absence and assisting with disciplinary matters, grievances and other employee matters
* Provide advice on company benefits, policies and procedures
* Ensure payroll information is input correctly 
* Assisting the team with compliance and preemployment checks
* Issue contracts of employment, contractual amendment letters and other correspondence
* Work with the HR Managers to update policies/ documents as guided
* Employee correspondence and responding to employee queries in a timely manner
* Liaise with payroll provider and manager relationship 
* Maintain personal files in a confidential manner
* Work with the HR Manager and HR Officer to ensure that pay is processed on time, accurately and in compliance with government regulations
* Process all timesheets and amendments to contract on a monthly basis
* Administer third party deductions and other deductions from earnings
* Assist in the processing of the monthly PAYE payroll
* Pensions administration & queries
* Deal with payroll queries
Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday Must work a Friday if 4 days a week
