The successful candidate will be able to apply their expert knowledge in electrical systems to maintain and improve machinery efficiency.

Description
* Carrying out planned maintenance, fault diagnostics, breakdown repairs, refurbishment, installation, improvements and modifications or upgrade to plant machines and services in order to minimise downtime and to maintain/improve all equipment. (tasks not limited to the listed summary)
* You will be expected to carry out all work to a high standard, following health and safety protocol and within BRC Hygiene standards.
* Adhere to all company and departmental processes and procedures.
* Consistently strive towards delivering departmental and company targets (KPIs) and objectives.
* Ensuring all work is entered into the maintenance management system. (Pirana)
* Work as part of a team along with operations to improve line performance in efficiency, quality and safety.
* Undertake training and up-skilling programs as required in line with technology advances.
* Participation in continuous improvement programs - 6s, Root cause, Lean. This is relevant to both shop floor and workshop environments.
Profile
* Time served Electrical/Electronic craftsperson with Level 3 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
* Qualified to IET 18th edition.
* City and Guilds inspection testing 2391 (not essential but preferred)
* Preferable if candidate can demonstrate an understanding of PLC ladder logic, is capable of navigating digital drives and experience with various types of variable speed drives.
