Meridian Business Support are currently working with a leading New Building housing contractor in the North West who are looking to recruit an experience Site Manager for an exciting project in Greater Manchester. 

They are looking for a candidate with a prover track record of running new build housing projects and who is competent in masonry, timber frame and LWSF.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, understand and comply with company policies and procedures  and implement on site at all times
- Ensure all trades are working in accordance with trade specifications
- Manage, motivate and support directly employed site staff through performance monitoring
- Take ownership of agreed build programme, providing 4 week look aheads with weekly reviews and updates to achieve development completion target
- Fully conform to building regulations and warranty providers requirements
- Understand contractual requirements  of the development and ensure compliance of contractors proposals, employers requirements, main contracts and third party agreements
- Attend regular development review meetings to address site progress, programme and quality
- Complete required quality inspections and action in a timely manner using the development management system

Qualifications
* Level 4 or equivalent in a construction based qualification
* Temporary Works Coordinator
* SMSTS
* First Aid at Work
* Basic Scaffold Inspection
* Good working knowledge of Building Regulations
