Job Description:
Our client, a family-run company based near Slough, is looking for an experienced Account Manager. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing key client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales. As an Account Manager, you will work closely with the production, distribution and management teams. Experience in the clothing or apparel industry would be an advantage but not essential.
Salary: £35k-£40k depending on experience, excellent benefits and career opportunities, full training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Communicating with key clients and understanding their immediate and future requirements.
* Managing new projects and clients as and when they arise.
* Managing and forecasting stock levels to ensure first class customer service and delivery to your clients.
* Setting and managing a sales budget and expected profit margin for your clients, driving growth and profitability and identifying opportunities to increase revenue.
* Working closely with each client to ensure that the products and services provided meet and exceed both the client’s and company goals.
* Creating and managing a reporting schedule for clients, delivering accurate management information in line with their requirements.
* Raising new requests for production with the production team as required.
* Managing with support the digital set up and document libraries for clients, including online ordering portals and customer records.
Requirements:
* Experience in a similar role.
* Experience in the clothing or apparel industry would be an advantage but not essential.
* A high-level of competency and proven track record in Key Account Management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
* Experience in DecoNetworks, HubSpot & Xero would be advantageous.
* Must be a team player and an ability to multi-task under pressure.
* Can do attitude, to ensure Customers’ expectations are met.
* Full clean driving licence.
