Strategic Optimisation Engineer - Water Recycling
Circa £46,000 depending on skills and experience and car allowance
Permanent
Full time - 37 hours a week?
Offering flexibility to work from home or office - must be able to attend sites and meetings
Location: Based with the Anglian Water region (covering areas such as Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Northamptonshire)

We are looking for SO Engineer, where you’ll play a pivotal role in identifying, validating, and integrating digital capabilities into our water recycle networks. Collaborating closely with a diverse array of internal and external stakeholders, you’ll be instrumental in shaping investment opportunities that harness technology to enhance performance and transform operational strategies.

What does it take to be a SO Engineer?
* Technical skills, experience & knowhow in mechanical, electrical and IOT/telemetry. ?

* Strong technical knowledge of analysis, geospatial information and various data modelling tools??

* A good record of initiating solutions to overcome problems?by tackling cause not symptoms??

* Experience in systems-based thinking, preferably in the water sector?? ??

* Good understanding of IT systems and applications, along with excellent IT skills?overall??

* Possesses strong communication skills, objectivity and professionalism?with ability to constructively challenge and collaborate??

* Strong organisational and prioritising skills and the ability to deliver quality outputs within extremely tight deadlines??

* Full driving license is essential

Key duties will include:?
* Leading in developing new solutions which enhance control and visualisation within Water Recycling.??

* Carrying out technical assessments of assets to understand feasibility and viability of projects ahead of any design work??

* Identification of the impact on operating models and communication to internal stakeholders??

* Testing and validating solutions in the operational environment??

* Development of cost models for all solutions??

* Monitoring of outputs of any installation project as?appropriate, ensuring?the correct measures are defined??
