Opportunity: Front-End Developer
Salary: £28k - £ 32k pa
Location: Sheffield - full time on site
We have a permanent Front-End Developer position available with our IT solutions client in Sheffield, responsible for creating versatile, user-friendly software solutions to meet business needs.
This is a full-time position, based 5 days per week on site, paying circa £30k +/-, depending on experience, offering flexible working hours.
The role involves styling websites using HTML,CSS and JavaScript. You will liaise with UX/UI designers and backend developers, collaborating and sharing knowledge with team members, whilst providing support and guidance.
In terms of technical requirements, as well as HTML and CSS, we’re looking for someone with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, a strong team player with a passion and enthusiasm for delivering responsive and engaging user interfaces. You’ll require previous experience with frameworks such as Bootstrap, a proficiency with Git and GitHub and an understanding of the principles of CMS platforms for managing and deploying digital content.
Role Profile/Responsibilities:
* Design and style websites using HTML and CSS
* Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and backend developers - Share knowledge and communicate effectively with team members
* Optimise web performance
* Ensure compatibility and performance across multiple browsers and devices
* Experience with frameworks such as Bootstrap
* Proficient in using Git and GitHub
* Skilled in using tools like Visual Studio, Chrome Developer Tools, etc
* Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and/or Adobe XD
* Understanding the principles of CMS platforms
* Knowledge of C# and .NET Core is desirable
