Classroom Teachers Ltd are always seeking skilled and experienced School Caretakers to work in educational units based throughout London.
The role Monday to Friday 7:30am -3:30pm
Your day will consist of the following duties:
*Opening the building in the morning
*General school maintenance for the building and grounds.
*Repairing faults across the school and playgrounds.
*Conducting fire safety , security and H&S checks for the site.
*Event set up and take down.
*Support and assist colleagues to conduct specific/ad hoccaretaking tasks when required
*Ensuring the school and grounds are clean and tidy
*Dealing with both external and internal contractors
*Grounds work
The role can be an ongoing position, but may turn permanent for the right candidate.
Please note: Classroom Teachers Ltd undertake checks on all of our candidates in line with safeguarding legislation. As such, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not hold a subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process.
