Job Description:
Rapier Employment are working with a well-established client in Swindon who are looking for Class 1 drivers to join them.
Role: Class 1 Driver
Hours: Start times will vary but looking for late/night drivers.
Ideal shift patterns:
* Thursday to Monday OR Friday to Tuesday.
* If you are looking for weekend work only, they can potentially accommodate this.
Basic hourly rate: £16.34 per hour
Night premium (20:00-05:00): £1.57 per hour
Overtime pay: £20.43 (paid after 46.25 hours worked)
Basic hours per week: 46.25 hours
Breaks: 45 mins unpaid
Role to include, and not limited to:
* Transporting goods between various locations efficiently and in a timely manner.
* Deliveries from Swindon will be across the South coast of England up to the Midlands.
* PM drivers will mostly cover trunking, but some store overflow deliveries may be required.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
* Always provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
* Full UK Licence (Cat C+E)
* CPC Card
* Digi Card
