MBA are excited to be working with a best-in-class insurance company, assisting their search for a UK Remote Senior .Net Developer, experienced in C# .Net and Azure to develop and maintain business applications and system integrations within an Agile environment along with actively mentoring and training developers who are more junior. The client is a global heavyweight with a reputation for client centric claims management, technical innovation and leadership.

Key Responsibilities of Senior .Net Developer:
* Independently undertake programming tasks of designing, prototyping, coding, maintaining, and testing with some assistance from more experienced team members.
* Translate internal business requirements into technical requirements, in conjunction with specialist business analysts.
* Apply quality and performance design principals.
* Write and maintain technical documentation.
* Consider existing structures and conventions to make sound programmatic decisions.
* Participate and contribute towards solution architecture and design.
* Review and approve other developers work.
* Provide succinct updates on progress.
* Able to give estimates for the time required and deliver accordingly.
* Manage and work closely with development teams across locations.
* Provide direction for .Net developers and act as escalation point for questions or issues.
* To work with testers to ensure new functionality is working to specification.
* Mentor and provide support and technical advice to other members of the team.
