Infrastructure Engineer - (IT, Infrastructure, O365, Defender, Group Policy, Networking, Firewalls, DNS, DHCP, Azure) - Permanent - St Helens
Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis for our fast growing prestigious client based in the St Helens area. This is the opportunity to help shape an IT function from the ground up and get into a fantastic organisation.
Location: St Helens
Salary: Up to £45,000 Per Annum D.O.E
Skills/Requirements for the Infrastructure Engineer
* Previous experience within a similar role is vital
* Extensive O365 experience
* Group Policy
* Windows Defender
* Strong Network troubleshooting skills
* Firewall experience
* Knowledge of Azure is highly desirable
* Knowledge of SD-Wan his highly desirable
Start date is ASAP for the Infrastructure Engineer
The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for:
* Triaging issues and service requests via phone and e-mail as a point of escalation from the support team
* Assisting with and leading Networking and Security Projects
* Administering the entire Office 365 environment as a senior
* Assisting, supervising & developing the technical team
* Supervising day-to-day operations of the IT department, including all on going projects.
* Managing the infrastructure, including servers and Network, and maintaining integrity of the estate.
* Collaborating with project teams to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects, utilizing your project management skills.
