We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Delivery Driver & Warehouse Operative to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
* Operate company vehicles for the delivery of goods, adhering to VOSA commercial driver regulations.
* Ensure timely and professional delivery of materials, representing the company positively at all delivery points.
Warehouse Operations:
* Load goods onto delivery vehicles and offload materials upon arrival.
* Assist in the general tidying and maintenance of the office and stores areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
* Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for delivery.
* Unload goods received and ensure they are checked and stored correctly.
* Follow and maintain goods receiving administration procedures.
Stock Management:
* Participate in the annual stock-take process.
* Regularly check and update stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory records.
Health & Safety:
* Adhere to the company’s Health & Safety policy and guidelines at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
General Duties:
* Manage time and activities effectively, always aligning with the company’s best interests.
* Perform any other duties as required to assist in the smooth running of the branch.
Working Hours:
* 45 hours per week, with the inclusion of Saturday mornings as required and scheduled by management.
Requirements:
* Full UK manual driving license.
* Ability to adhere to commercial driving regulations.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proactive and positive attitude.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
* Physical ability to load and unload goods.
