Global Accounting Network have partnered with an ambitious and ever growing tech company.
They are recruiting for a bright Data Analyst to join the team on a fixed-term contract for 1 year, as maternity cover.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis, with expertise in processing and analyzing large datasets. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a detail-oriented professional with exceptional analytical skills and a passion for data.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Financial Data team.
* Write SQL scripts, views, and stored procedures.
* Modify and update dashboards and reports as requested by stakeholders, and communicate the logic behind scripts and dashboards
* Assist in developing data warehouses, process automation, BI solutions, and reports.
* Provide relevant datasets and reports for exception reporting.
* Maintain data quality through cleaning, preparation, and profiling.
* Apply ETL techniques and data visualization methods.
Must Have Experience:
* Proven experience with SQL/T-SQL development (writing complex queries, developing MSSQL database tables, stored procedures, user-defined functions, views, SQL agent jobs, and SSIS packages to design specifications).
* Dashboard development experience (Power BI / DAX / Power Query).
* Proficiency with the ETL tool SSIS
* Competence in using various built-in functions in Excel.
Desirable Experience:
* Knowledge of data warehouses.
* Familiarity with the tech or subscription-based industry (understanding of MRR, ARR, or similar).
* Experience working with data as part of a finance team.
