Organisational Effectiveness Manager (18-month fixed-term contract)

Our client, an established building society, has an exciting opportunity for an Organisational Effectiveness Manager to join their People Function team on an 18-month fixed-term basis.
The role:
· You will play a crucial role in driving the Society’s success by supporting initiatives that focus on the optimisation and transformation of organisational structures, processes, and systems to enable the achievement of strategic objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.
· You will work closely with the Head of People, Executive Committee and Business Sponsors.
· Conducting organisational assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for organisational design and effectiveness initiatives.
· Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop and implement organisational design strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
· Helping to facilitate organisational change initiatives, including restructuring, process improvement, and workforce planning.
· Supporting stakeholders in the creation of the artefacts and documentation needed to deliver a successful outcome such as Process Maps, Org Scenario Plans, Job Descriptions, Change Plans.
· Conducting business process mapping and analysis to identify opportunities for streamlining and enhancing efficiency.
· Providing guidance and support to leaders and managers on organisational design and effectiveness best practices.
· Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of organisational design initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Key skills/ experience:
· Excellent oral and written skills, able to convey complex information clearly and engagingly.
· Organisation and efficiency skills to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
· Ability to take initiative and adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
· Understand the importance of inclusivity, to support creating the Society’s future organisational design.
