The Area Supervisor will be responsible for:
* To be the first point of contact on a designated site and to ensure all problems and enquiries are dealt with quickly and effectively involving the appropriate levels of management.
* To be responsible for the control and day to day on site supervision of the team onsite including Shotfirers and supporting the Drilling Team
* Ensuring that company standards in health, safety and legislation are maintained at all times
* To liaise with the Area Operations Manager and National Drilling Supervisor regarding staffing levels
* To attend company meetings as and when required
The Area Supervisor will need to have: 
* NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Shotfiring Supervision (Ideally)
* Explosives Supervisor Certificate
* IOSH OR NEBOSH
* Full UK Driving License
* Experience working on a quarry in a similar position
