Job Description:
This will be the first hire into the C&C / Convenience channel, with responsibility for winning new business and growing the channel.
Client Details
Although established 70 years ago, my client is still a small, tight knit business, with an existing footprint across the UK grocery channel. They supply Mediterranean and Middle Eastern foods, across both ambient and chilled categories, and are now looking for a National Account Manager as they expand their team to service their continued growth.
Description
* Actively prospect and win new business within the C&C / Convenience channel
* Build strong relationships and grow your account base sustainably
* Drive sales performance by implementing effective strategies
* Build lasting relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
* Collaborate with internal teams including supply and marketing to ensure customer needs are met
* Use market research to inform sales strategies and account management
* Represent the brand in a professional and positive manner
* Use excellent communication skills to effectively negotiate and close deals
* Regularly report on sales performance and customer feedback
Profile
* Prior experience in C&C / convenience essential
* Must have operated at regional or national level
* Hunter mentality with a thirst for new business
* Able to work autonomously
* A track record of driving sales growth across cash & carry and convenience
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* The ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Job Offer
