Job Description:
Job title: Planner
Our client is seeking a talented Planner to join their dynamic team. As a Planner, you will play a crucial role in coordinating resources, scheduling works, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of all Operations teams. Location: Chelmsford

Key responsibilities:

Efficiently schedule works, projects, and inspections, prioritising logistics, materials, equipment, and waste clearance to maximise productivity and deliver exceptional service to customers.
Assist managers and supervisors in planning, coordinating, and monitoring repairs, planned works, empty homes, compliance, and grounds services, effectively responding to queries.
Liaise with all departments
Undertake administrative, financial, and analytical activities to support the general operation of the Operations team.
Provide regular progress reports to the Planning Supervisor and Operations management team.
Use Keyfax to raise additional orders and accurately apply job costing information to works in progress or completed jobs.
Coordinate van stock levels and equipment with Supply Chain colleagues, ensuring replenishment is complete, correct, and properly stored and labelled.
Update all repairs scripts as directed by the Planning Supervisor.

Experience and qualifications:

Good literacy and numeracy skills
Experience with office systems and procedures, ideally in a repairs reporting, maintenance, or scheduling role.
High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
Previous experience with housing management systems and invoice processing.
