We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Audit Senior to lead audit engagements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Day to day of the role:
* Lead and manage financial audits from planning to completion.
* Supervise and mentor junior audit staff.
* Review and assess clients’ financial statements and internal controls.
* Provide recommendations for improving business processes and financial reporting.
* Liaise with clients to discuss audit findings and issues.
* Stay updated with accounting and auditing standards and legislation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
* Proven experience in an audit role within a practice environment.
* Strong understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong leadership and team management abilities.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
