Day to day of the role:
* Conduct financial audits for a diverse range of clients to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and present these to senior management.
* Collaborate with audit team members to plan and oversee the audit process.
* Review clients’ financial statements and assess the effectiveness of their internal controls.
* Assist in the development of audit plans and strategies.
* Stay updated with the latest auditing standards and regulations.
* Provide support and guidance to junior auditors and other staff.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
* Participate in continuous professional development activities to enhance auditing skills and knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Part-qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent, with a commitment to complete the qualification.
* Proven experience in an audit role within an accounting practice.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
