Job Description:
Our client is a well-established and reputable law firm with a strong presence in St Albans and the surrounding areas. They are looking for an experienced Property Solicitor to join their team, with a focus on residential property matters but also some commercial property experience.
We are seeking an experienced Property Solicitor to join a team in St Albans. The successful candidate will have a strong background in residential property law, with experience in areas such as conveyancing, sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and lease extensions. Additionally, you will have some experience in commercial property matters, including property development and secured lending.
Responsibilities:
* Handle a caseload of residential property matters, including conveyancing, sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and lease extensions
* Advise clients on all aspects of residential property transactions
* Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, deeds, and title documents
* Conduct due diligence on properties and identify potential issues
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other professionals to progress transactions
* Maintain accurate records and manage client files
* Contribute to the development of the department’s practice area and strategy
* Work collaboratively with other teams within the firm
Requirements:
* 5+ years of post-qualified experience as a Property Solicitor
* Strong background in residential property law, with experience in conveyancing, sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and lease extensions
* Some experience in commercial property matters, including property development and secured lending
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
* Proficient in case management systems and technology
