Salary: £40,000 per annum
+ Bonus scheme: After completing your probation period, you will be entitled to the following bonus scheme paid half in year one and half in year two: -
* Sales Budget achieved or exceeded: Bonus of 5% of salary.
* GOP Budget achieved or exceeded: Bonus of 5% of salary.
There is also a quarterly Bonus based on restaurant audits where you can earn up to £2,000 per year.
Benefits: include pension and private medical insurance.
45 hour shift pattern spread across 11am to 11pm opening hours of this 7 days a week site.
Experienced Restaurant Manager used to working in a branded, high turnover restaurant required by this high successful restaurant group with 5 sites in Central London. We are looking for an Restaurant Manager to working alongside the General Manager managing a full service restaurant with a focus on front of house.
The Deputy Restaurant Managers role has full management responsibilities and will require you to work alongside the General Manager to manage, supervise and train of a large front of house team of up to 40 part time and full-time staff, including labour costing and rota management. You will also have a key role in advising customers on menu choices, overseeing food quality, managing P&L, labour costing, budgeting, rota planning, forecasting and stock management.
Responsibilities of Restaurant Deputy Manager:
• Managing customer relations, ensuring they exceed customer expectations.
• Assisting with recruitment, training and mentoring of staff.
• Organising staff rota according to needs of the business.
• Ordering stock and managing supplier relationships.
• Ensuring budgets and maintained and results achieved.
• Delivering team objectives and motivating the team to achieve them.
• Delegating responsibilities effectively.
• Establishing great positive working environment.
• Solving problems before they occur and quick thinking.
Skills Required for Restaurant Deputy Manager:
• Previous experience working as a Restaurant Manager, Deputy Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager within a high-volume, high-street restaurant chain.
• Good team management experience.
• An excellent history of exceeding customer service expectations.
• Working as a team and on own initiative, being proactive.
