Group Financial Controller – Lincoln - £55,000 - £65,000

We are excited to be working with our client exclusively to recruit a determined, forward thinking Group Financial Controller, reporting directly to the Managing Directors. This is a pivotal, number one finance role to support with the rapid growth of the business and be an integral part of the senior leadership team. Being a fast paced business run by an entrepreneurial management team, who are dedicated to driving growth and excellence across the group, you will need to be a dynamic individual, who is passionate to drive change and get results.

Working closely with the Owner Directors, you will be a commercially driven, hands on Group Financial Controller who can add significant value to the senior team and business. This is the ideal role for a dynamic, energetic and flexible individual who thrives in a fast paced, everchanging environment. You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial information to support strategic decisions and drive process improvements across all group subsidiaries.

Responsibilities will include:
* Management, mentoring and development of a small team
* Oversee the financial reporting and ensure financial integrity across the group
* Support and challenge business performance through improved financial analysis
* Provide analytical and financial information to influence business decisions
* Overseeing the management accounts and KPI reporting including review, finalise and provide detailed commentary
* Manage reporting to support price modelling, profitability analysis, capital monitoring and investment appraisals
* Monthly meeting to present the numbers to the Directors
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Cash-flow forecasting processes that utilise the integrated model
* Yearend accounting and oversee and manage the audit process
* Manage financial compliance
* Capex appraisals for major projects
* Develop and review strategies to manage market risk
* Review and implementation of improved systems, controls, processes and procedures
* Provide financial modelling and support to with regards to business strategy, projects, capital investment and expansion plans 

The right person will be:
* CIMA/ ACCA or ACA Qualified, with strong experience at a senior level
* Strong Finance Manager or Financial Controller experience
* Broad financial experience beyond just compliance activities, demonstratable ability to add value to the bottom line and improve operational processes
* Experience managing a team including able to lead, drive, motivate and mentor the team
* You will also need excellent communication skills and the ability to interpret meaningful information to non-financial Managers
* Have a continuous improvement mentality and the ability to drive change
* Experience of board level involvement through support and business strategic discussion.
* IT Literate including excel and ERP systems
