About the Role:
Become a part of our client’s finance team as a Senior Payable Analyst and embark on an exciting journey. This unique role places you at the forefront of process efficiency, governance, and business collaboration. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the future of the payables team and significantly influencing the financial landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process purchase order (PO) and non-PO invoices, ensuring accurate matching and coding of expenses.
* Post multi-currency and urgent business payments in compliance with company policies.
* Manage direct debit payments according to established procedures.
* Prepare and execute payment runs following procedural guidelines.
* Reconcile supplier statements and ensure accuracy.
* Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and resolve any queries promptly.
* Collaborate with Financial Reporting, Commercial Finance, and Treasury teams.
* Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial data.
* Assist with month-end processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
* Participate in finance transformation projects, including system enhancements within Unit 4.
About You:
* AAT qualified or currently studying towards a professional qualification.
* Knowledge of P2P processes, preferably within a financial control or retail context.
* Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
* Excellent communication skills for engaging with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
* Ability to support and drive process improvements.
* Strong collaboration skills and the ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
