Job Description:
As an Accountant within the aeronautical engineering sector, you will be responsible for managing financial tasks and contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation. You will be joining the Accounting & Finance team to ensure the accuracy and legality of our financial operations.

Description
* Preparing financial statements, reports, and records by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information.
* Documenting financial transactions by entering account information.
* Summarising current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
* Substantiating financial transactions by auditing documents.
* Guiding accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
* Securing financial information by completing database backups.
* Maintaining financial security by following internal controls.
* Preparing payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
Profile
A successful Accountant should have:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
* Proficiency in accounting software
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Offer
* An estimated salary of £55,000
* A degree in Accounting/Finance and CPA / ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent certification.
* Knowledge of various GAAP accounting rules including UK GAAP and IFRS
