My client in Basingstoke is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a minimum 4-month temporary contract!
The successful candidate must have end to end Accounts Payable experience.

Description
* End to end Accounts Payable processes
* Charge expenses to accounts and cost centres and control petty cash spending
* Verify vendor accounts, pay vendors and resolve purchase order, invoice or payment discrepancies
* Issue purchase order amendments and stop payments
* Monitor payroll expense claims, including salary advances and overtime payments
* Reconcile account transactions with the general ledger
* Perform recordkeeping and prepare financial reports
* Keep informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting
Profile
* Experience with end to end Accounts Payable
* A strong educational background in finance or a related field
* Proven experience in managing accounts payable
* Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (SAP desirable)
* Great attention to detail and accuracy
