SQL Automation Engineer - SQL, Automation, Octopus Deploy - Outside IR35 Contract Role
We’re seeking a skilled SQL Release and Automation Specialist to streamline and automate SQL schema and data changes across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage SQL Release Processes: * Coordinate SQL releases across Development, Testing, Staging, and Production environments.
* Ensure timely and accurate SQL changes with minimal downtime.
* Automate SQL Changes: * Use Visual Studio, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, and Azure DevOps (ADO) to automate SQL schema and data changes.
* Develop scripts and tools to automate manual SQL release tasks.
* Collaborate with Teams: * Work with Scrum teams to gather requirements and understand SQL changes.
* Ensure smooth integration and deployment of SQL changes.
* Improve Processes: * Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the SQL release process.
* Implement best practices for SQL release management and automation.
Required Experience and Skills
* Proven experience in SQL release management and automation.
* Proficiency with Visual Studio, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, and Azure DevOps (ADO).
* Ability to automate SQL schema and data changes.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
