The founder and sponsor of the Harris Federation, Lord Harris of Peckham, opened our first school in 1990. We have, over the past thirty years, implemented ideas and initiatives that have transformed the opportunities of pupils from working class and disadvantaged backgrounds. Harris academies are widely recognised as a force for social mobility. We are immensely proud of the role that our alumni are now beginning to play in the world and of what we believe our current generation of pupils will go on to achieve.
We now have over 50 schools educating more than 40,000 young people across London and Essex, and employ over 5,000 staff across our academies and head office. With the majority of our academies located in areas of high socioeconomic disadvantage, a high-quality education is key to the futures of the pupils we serve.

Main Areas of Responsibility

Your responsibilities will include:
* Management accounts, monthly reporting and annual budget preparation across the quad
* Team management, managing and developing two FBPs throughout the emplyoment lifecycle including annual performance management
* Finding benefits and solutions for schools, sharing successes and learnings from academies across the group
* Hold key relationships with the academies in the quad, meeting regularly with Assistant Directors and with Principals rotationally throughout the year
What We are Looking For

We would like to hear from you if you have:
* CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA qualification (preferred)
* Good delegation skills
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Excellent interpersonal skills and gravitas to liaise with senior staff
* The ability to prioritise yours and team work in order achieve the tight reporting deadlines
* The ability to be a good team player, with strong relationship building skills
* Excellent all-round accounting skills
* The ability to work to tight reporting deadlines
* A "can do" attitude
* Excellent time management skills
* The ability to lead by example and be a role model for the team
* Good analytical skills and a positive approach to problem solving
* A high level of Excel skills and good exposure to different accounting systems
* The ability to work flexibly in rapidly changing business
