BMC are working exclusively to recruit a qualified Electrical Installer, experienced in installation of Solar PV.
This is a full-time permanent role which is based on various sites across the Midlands and Yorkshire, a company vehicle will be provided alongside, mobile phone, tablet and uniform. You MUST be available to work out on site, hold a Full, Clean UK Driving License – in exchange my client is offering an excellent salary to the successful candidate who will be electrically qualified and have an excellent track record of working in Electrical environment.
 
Main Duties:
* Assessing locations to ensure they are suitable for solar panels
* Measuring up areas for installation
* Adjusting building surfaces so panels fit and are adequately supported
* Installing and maintaining solar panels on homes, business premises or open land
* Connecting solar panels to an electrical system
* Grounding electrical equipment and checking wiring
* Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines
* Using a variety of technical equipment and tools Surveying sites where electrical systems are installed.
* Reviewing electrical installation plans and technical diagrams – 2D
* Analysing the blueprints for Electrical Installation to determine the specifications of the components to be installed.
* Installing, maintaining, modifying and repairing all electrical systems in public spaces and buildings
* Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations.
* Conducting general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues
What we need from you:
* Essential - You MUST have an industry recognised qualification / Appropriate certification – for example 18th Edition / NVQ Electrical Installation or City & Guilds Electrical qualification.
* Essential - in-date ECS Card / CSCS Card  
* Essential - CLEAN UK Driving License
* Essential - You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience
* You should be able to safely use Electrical, hand and power tools
* You must be self-managed
* The ability to interpret blueprints for Electrical systems.
* Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills.
