My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their site on the outskirts of Glasgow. You will be working with a successful manufacturer, that have a culture on site that is results-driven with a strong focus on continuous improvement. * Working as part of a small team on various projects at different stages of the life cycle
* Ensure that the manufacturing process on the different production areas operate as smoothly and efficiently as possible
* Allocate labour effort accordingly to react to business priorities
* Plan and co-ordinate manufacturing processes
* Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods
* Working with Manufacturing to support NPI builds through various development phases
* Support with NPI, working with design, production, tooling and quality
* Assist with the creations of BoMs, build processes & cost evaluations related to NPI
* The ability to implement change and implement new process and procedures
* Plan and implement new layouts, work flows and maximise efficiency
Education / Experience required:
* HND/BSc in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent relevant qualification or experience
* Production Engineering / NPI experience
* Lean manufacturing experience
* Excellent manufacturing knowledge
* Proven ability to project manage and keep to project timescales
