Assistant Property Manager - Block Management *Hybrid working available*
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 PA
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
Job Description:
* Assist the Property Manager in overseeing their portfolio of properties
* Address property maintenance issues reported by leaseholders and residents, coordinating with contractors as needed
* Obtain quotations for various works
* Manage telephone, email, and postal inquiries
* Perform property searches via the Land Registry
* Oversee and manage maintenance issues through to completion
* Support Health and Safety, Fire Risk Assessments, and Asbestos compliance for the portfolio
* Draft Section 20 Notices for approval
* Aid the Property Manager in liaising with Chartered Surveyors during major work projects
* Assist with coordination with insurance brokers before policy renewals
* Occasionally attend formal management visits to properties and prepare reports
* Attend EGMs and AGMs as required
* Handle Service Charge and Ground Rent collections
* Instruct contractors
Experience Required:
* 2+ years of Assistant Property Manager experience or Junior Property Manager with portfolio experience
* Eager to start TPI/IRPM studies
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
