Are you an experienced Events Coordinator who is looking for their next role? This may be the perfect position for you! My client, an award winning and market leader in their field is looking for someone to join their expanding team. This is unique opportunity to be part of a growing company, where your role as an Events Coordinator is crucial.
With a great deal of events each year, you are the key to a successful event, responsible for everything from planning to post-event evaluation. This role would suit a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and organisational skills
Key Duties
* Dealing with clients or internal stakeholders to understand event goals and objectives.
* Research and secure venues, catering, entertainment, and other vendors when required.
* Manage contracts with vendors and ensure adherence to budgets and timelines
* Create and manage event logistics, including literature & merchandise orders and colleague & delegate packs.
* Oversee event setup and breakdown when required.
* Coordinate with on-site colleagues to ensure a smooth event flow
* Develop and distribute post-event surveys and reports
* Stay informed about current event trends and best practices
Essential Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, event management, or a related field (preferred)
* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
* Strong project management and organisational skills
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software desirable
* A clean (or near clean) driving licence.
* Team player with a positive attitude who will support colleagues to achieve our shared vision
