Job Description:
HR Advisor (Part-time) * Job Type: Part-time (16-28 hours a week, flexible on times/days)
* Location: Thetford - role to be mainly office based but 1 day working from home may be considered
* Salary: £35,000 - 40,000 pro rata dependant on experience
We are looking for a Part-Time HR Advisor to join our creative and growing team at a leading manufacturer of high end beauty and cosmetic products. The HR Advisor will support the business in delivering people-related processes, working closely with line managers, ensuring alignment with the law. This role involves managing the overall HR function and operations, providing a comprehensive HR service to all managers and employees.
Day to Day of the role: * Manage all employee relations cases including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, capability, and redundancy.
* Provide advice on terms and conditions of employment, ensuring decisions follow employment law regulations.
* Support managers with employee and employment-related matters to help resolve issues and drive performance.
* Oversee the time and attendance system, ensuring accurate data management and payroll processing.
* Act as a mediator between employees and managers when required.
* Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to drive performance and legal compliance.
* Lead the recruitment process, including job descriptions, interviews, and onboarding.
* Manage employee development strategies, including performance reviews and talent management.
* Work alongside the Senior Management team to align HR with business goals.
* Manage the company pension scheme and provide HR reports on attendance and other issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Proven experience in HR management.
* Happy to work in a stand alone HR Generalist position
* Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
* Excellent interpersonal and mediation skills.
* Experience with recruitment and performance management processes.
* Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
* Ability to create a supportive and inclusive work environment.
