Learning Mentor | Grantham, NG31| £95 - £105 per day | September 2024
We are seeking a committed and empathetic Learning Mentor to join our partner SEMH school in the Grantham area. This role provides a rewarding opportunity to make a significant difference in the development and success of students with social, emotional and mental health needs in the classroom. The school is looking for someone to start full-time in September, with the position becoming permanent for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support to students working below age expected levels.
* Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
* Work closely with teaching staff to plan and implement strategies that promote positive learning outcomes.
* Encourage active participation and engagement in learning.
* Assist students with their overall wellbeing by providing targeted interventions to support their learning and development.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience in a supportive capacity within an educational setting, or in roles such as counselling or mentoring children.
* Have experience working with SEN & SEMH.
* Be enthusiastic about assisting children in overcoming obstacles and achieving their full potential.
