We’re looking for a passionate individual to join the existing Student Services team as a Senior member of the team.
The primary focus in this role will be on designing and delivering DSA-funded Non-Medical Helper support. You will also act as the main point of contact for all student inquiries as well as supporting the wider Student Services and teaching teams to offer an inclusive service.
A key part of this role is making sure student feel welcomed, valued and have access the support to help them thrive.
In the role you will:
* Act as the initial point of contact for current and prospective students regarding any accessibility needs
* Provide specialist 1:1 study skills and mentoring tuition
* Plan, organise and deliver staff training sessions to support an inclusive learning environment
What you will need to succeed in this job:
* Comprehensive experience of supporting students with SpLD, Autism, Mental Health conditions or other long-term health conditions under the DSA-NMH framework.
* A recognised teaching qualification
* First class communication skills
* Exceptional relationship skills with the ability to enthuse and inspire trust with all stakeholders
