SF Recruitment have a great opportunity to join one of our fantastic Manufacturing clients based in Swadlincote. They are looking for a Supply Planner to join their growing team. This is a full-time, permanent role with a salary paying up to £40,000 depending upon experience.

Within this role you will be responsible for monitoring and tracking purchase orders and resolving any supply chain issues which may occur. You will be responsible for inventory management ensuring on time deliveries. You will need to have excellent communication skills as you will be required to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Suitable candidates will have experience within a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

Key Duties
o Convert system demands (purchase requirements) into Purchase Orders
o Track, monitor open Purchase orders
o Identify, negotiate and solve demand/supply issues
o Responsible for inventory management
o Challenging suppliers for best lead times
o Review and manage change requests from Sales
o Set-up and maintain system parameters to run the system as automatic as possible and to achieve best attainable results
o Support phase out plans for End of Life
o Support transfer projects
o Support phase-in of New Product Introduction and product transfers in collaboration between Sales and Manufacturing
o Handle drawing changes on series items
o Series replacement tool orders with sampling
o Master Data Maintenance on material level

o Experience within a Supply Planner role
o Excellent communication skills
o Organised
o Flexible to accommodate business needs
o Computer literate with MRP/ERP and Excel
o Used to working within a Manufacturing/Engineering environment
