Job Description:
JOB PURPOSE:
To provide administrative support to the Purchasing, Maintenance & Defence Teams
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Issue enquiries and raise purchase orders as instructed
Issue and expedite orders to ensure services and supplies arrive in a timely manner
Manage the goods receipt process and liaise with suppliers and accounts team to resolve invoice queries.
Update and publish metrics (order value, maintenance budget, outstanding balance etc.) Ensure risk assessments / method statements are received and circulated prior to contractors arriving onsite.
Maintain and update the Shire preventative maintenance system.
Process new supplier application forms
To provide general administrative support to the Maintenance, Purchasing and Defence teams
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
GCSE in Maths & English
Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite - Excell, Word & Outlook Experience with ERP systems
JOB CHALLENGES: Working diligently and accurately to strict timescales
Monday to Friday 08.30-5pm or 8-4.30pm

Working in the purchasing department and maintenance mainly.
Good excel and word
Organised with a high attention to detail
Experience of working in a similar role
