Role Overview:
My client is a boutique start-up in Southampton specialising in innovative product design and development in the Energy sector. They are currently hiring for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in developing electromechanical products.
You will be working in an encouraging and collaborative environment to cohesively develop and launch exciting new products.
This is perfect for anyone who genuinely enjoys the full product lifecycle and strives for personal and career growth. It is a very exciting time to join my client as they are in the early stages of several exciting new projects and there are several progression/development opportunities for the suitable candidate.
About you:
* 10 years minimum in an engineering (Mechanical Design) environment

* Electro-mechanical product development experience

* Experienced in the full project lifecycle

* 3D CAD design: OnShape preferred

* Experience with valve actuators/regulators

Bonus if:
* Product development experience in the Oil & Gas/Energy/Utilities industry

* Experience following ATEX regulations
