Our client is a very well-established Firm of Accountants seeking to employ an experienced Bookkeeper. You will be involved in a wide variety of bookkeeping work for different client companies. The duties could typically involve sales and purchase ledger work, bank reconciliations, CIS returns, the preparation and submission of VAT returns, and assisting with some management accounts figures.
You will use mainly Xero software (training can be given), and also use a little Sage and Quickbooks.
The role can be offered on a full or a part-time basis, and the Firm is able to consider working around school hours, or doing longer hours for say 3 days per week.
Any previous experience of working in a Firm of Accountants or a Bookkeeping Bureau will give a little advantage, but the Firm is very keen to also welcome applications from strong double-entry Bookkeepers who come from a Commercial/Industrial background
